How do we get started?
To start we will require you to fill out our project questionnaire to give us some details about your project. Once the questionnaire is completed you will receive an email within 24 hours of dates and times to have a discovery call with one of our designers.
How long will our project take?
Typically a project will take 2 - 4 weeks, depending on what is all involved and what your goals are. But really it's up to you how long your project will take.
How involved in the process will I need to be?
With your help we’ll establish project parameters and work with you on decisions and functionality of space. Beyond decision-making, your level of involvement is up to you.
How do you charge?
We charge on a room by room basis. Depending on the project we have different levels of packages for you to choose from. If you do not see a package that fits for you, call us we are happy to customize a package that is just right for you.
Where do you get your furniture, artwork, accessories from?
We try to use our local suppliers as much as possible, but sometimes we do have to use our suppliers across Canada and the United States.
HS qualifies for varying discounts through our suppliers and we are happy to pass those discounts on to our clients. Our discounts are only available to our team members and are not provided directly to clients without a HS team member present. For purchases made on behalf of the client, some additional fees apply - contact for details.
What if I feel embarrassed about my mess?
We understand life gets messy, but don’t worry, you’re not alone! We have seen it all and it’s our code of conduct not to judge. We’ll handle every situation with care and understanding.
Do I have to use HS services for everything, or just as needed?
After the initial design consultation, you will be able to review our recommendations. You can decide as to what recommendations you want to implement on your own and what recommendations you want to use our services for.
